In this practice, you install, configure, and manage Windows Server Update Services (WSUS). In a real-world deployment, you would be unlikely to collocate the WSUS server on your organization's domain controller (DC). It is a matter of practicality for this exercise.
To complete these practice exercises, you must have downloaded WSUS and Report Viewer from the Microsoft Web site. The "Before You Begin" section at the start of this chapter lists where you can obtain this software.
